BredWell FedWell
We are very appreciative of the opportunity to host a BredWell FedWell on Friday 22 March 2024.
Workshops are aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of producers so they can:
- develop a customised breeding plan for their livestock enterprise aligned to their profit drivers
- identify sires and select animals that help them meet their objectives
- feed animals well to achieve their objectives and maximise their genetic investment.
Bald Blair Angus has been hosting farm tours for many years and welcomes visitors throughout the year.
In recent years we have hosted:
- NZ Angus Breeders
- Singleton Beef and Land Management Association
- Tocal Agricultural College
- Japanese industry representatives
- Wetlandcare Australia Field Day
- University of New England
- Angus Society of Australia
- Parents of Angus Youth Cattle Camp
- Kansas State University
- Rangers Valley Feedlot chefs and colleagues
- Northern Tablelands Local Land Services Ladies in Livestock and
- Schools Property Planning Field Day
to name a few.
- Tours include a presentation by owner and manager Sam White, viewing of Bald Blair Angus stud and commercial cattle and farm tour to see management systems.
- Tours can be tailored to individual requirements and large or small groups are welcome.
- We have a canteen at the cattle yards and can provide light refreshments or meals on request.
- Tours are by appointment only and a small fee may be requested.
